Formula 1 Week

It's been a super crazy weekend with Formula 1 in town.

Thursday we went to a Formula 1 "Texas Cowboy Chic" Party

and we made the local newspaper!
I mean, of course the hottest couple in the world makes the paper!

 After the dinner party, we went to see "The Best of Texas Music" at ACL Live

Eddie Vedder Solo Tour

While playing guitar outside the hotel Friday night, Eddie Vedder

came up to Gareth and watched him play guitar as he was leaving

to get ready for his solo show in Austin at Bass Concert Hall.

Graciously, he gifted Gareth and I with two tickets to the show!

As if that wasn't amazing enough...

During the second to last song of the show, Eddie said "I met a guy

from Zimbabwe today while he was playing exit music at the hotel

I am staying at. If he his here, come up here and play a song with me."

Gareth jumped up and ran to the stage and played "Yellow Ledbetter"

while Eddie Vedder sang. After I snapped out of my shock,

I made my way to the front to snap a few pictures. It was surreal...

Hands down, this show is in the top 3 greatest concerts I've ever
seen (and I'm sure Gareth would agree)!
